April 2023 Monthly Newsletter
Thank you to everyone who showed up and helped out at our work party and helped pickup the targets after the shoot. We had one of the better shooter turnouts than we have had in a long time, hopefully this will continue the rest of the year. There was 10 targets left out on the range down at the bottom of the hill.
Our next shoot will be the (Around the World of Archery) on Saturday April 1st, we will have a work party on Saturday March 25th we will need some help setting the shoot up because of the different stages it takes for the shoot. This shoot has become a popular shoot and hopefully we will have good weather and a good turnout.
The Club is hosting a Hunter Ed class on April 7th & April 8th at the club grounds, you will have to go to the Indiana DNR website to register to attend. Anyone who would like to get their working hours in for the year and help out with this please contact Jon Day.
We have confirmed dates of May 6th & May 7th for the ASA Qualifier shoot, Anyone who wants to help out with the shoot contact Brian LuAllen or Jon Day for assignments.
Our next Regular Club Meeting is Thursday April 6th at 7:00 P.M. at the club house.
Thanks to Everyone

March 2023 Monthly Newsletter
I would like to thank everyone who showed up at our first shoot of the year, the weather was a little cool, but the sun was shining and helped out later in the day.
I want to especially thank everyone who showed up for the work party and after the shoot to pick up targets, We got the leaves cleaned out of the gutters and the targets set out and was done around noon. It makes it easy to set up for these shoots when we have a good turnout of help.
The tentative date for our ASA qualifier shoot is May 6&7 as of now. I will let everyone know if these dates change. We have purchased a 20 target range from the Russell County Shoot in March.
We are still waiting on a confirmed date for the Spring Hunter Ed class coming up. We will post it on the Web Site as soon as we get the dates set.
Our next shoot is Saturday March 4th, and we will have a work party Saturday February 25th at 9:00 A.M.
Our next meeting is March 2nd at 7:00 P.M. Hope to see everyone there.
Thanks everyone.

February 2023 Monthly Newsletter
It’s hard to believe we are starting another year at the club. First, let’s keep John Robbins and his family in our thoughts and prayers because of the passing of his wife.
This year we are going to be changing things up a little bit. For the first time we will be hosting an ASA qualifier shoot. The dates are not set for sure yet, but we have requested early May, I will let you all know when we get a confirmed date.
We are also looking into purchasing a range of 20 targets from one of the ASA shoots coming up. We have had a lot of requests from many of the club members to host a qualifier because there are none held in our area plus none in southern Indiana. Our shoot attendance has been declining every year for a few years now and we are hoping that having some ASA style shoots will help us on our attendance.
I want to thank everyone who showed up for our work party Saturday, it makes it easier on us old guy’s.
I am planning on doing these Monthly Newsletters every month to keep everyone up to date in the club, plus it is required by our By-Laws.
Our regular club meeting is this Thursday Feb. 2nd at 7:00 P.M., A Charter Board meeting will at 6:30 before the regular meeting. Please try not to interrupt the Charter Board if you get there before it’s over.
We do have a shoot this coming Saturday Feb.4th, a reminder our shoots will only be a one day shoot this year Except our Jamboree.
